Delu wildlife checkpoint construction support


Locale: Delu

               In year 1998, Mayanmar military troop invaded the Thai border at Suriya River wildlife protection station located Northwest of the sanctuary and burnt the service house and other facilities of the wildlife protection station. WFCC supported the new wildlife protection station at Delu stream, 6 kilometer backward from the frontier, as requested by Mr.TaiZa, the chief of the Suriya wildlife protection station. With the labor of the rangers and the continuing construction materials supply by WFCC, the new Delu wildlife protection station, named after the stream in the area,  was finally finished.
