Due to the report of hundred thousands fish death in Tila and Kasat streams in May, 1998, WFCC asked for water pollution specialists from the pollution department and with the guarded of Thungyai rangers, the expedition to the toxic Tila which was in the deep forest was set up as requested by the rangers of Thungyai in order to quest for the answer to the phenomena. 9 days patrolled in the deep forest of the greatest forest of the country in the middle of monsoon season was an adventurous and another unforgettable trip to all members in the team. The mission succeeded at last, after 4 months the paper report from the pollution control department was sent to WFCC office which was later, handed to the wildlife sanctuary, saying that, the laboratory test result found cyanide in the random sampling water which caused the phenomena.
