Rangers' equipment support project
#3 GPS and mobile generator support

              January 7, 2000: The chief in command of the wildlife sanctuary received the third GPS, Garmin 12XL value ฿15,000  from WFCC in front of the office of Tinuay wildlife protection station as to support needed working equipments to Thungyai rangers.

               This equipment will be utilized in forest patrol of rangers as well as data collection in field research to build up central data base of Thungyai in the future. This GPS support is part of ranger support project initiated by WFCC which aims to gear up rangers' working efficiency that will help keeping this forest.
