WFCC initiated a new program on reduction of torch battery usage in Thungyai to hell protect soil and water from chemical and toxic of the empty torch battery which were left on the ground throughout the area near rangers houses. 3 dozens of new torches were distributed to rangers as a pioneer program , the new torches need no traditional battery but is self generated DC electricity through the electronic circuit built inside.
