Another 3 trucks traveled supporting additional construction materials to the work site of Biklee Marine Wildlife Checkpoint Construction, aiming to continue its final stage during November 25-28, 2005. The materials composed of steel structure, mega board for walls, poly carbonate for its canopy, metal sheet to build up ceiling, 8 oil tanks (200 liter) to support floating, outdoor paint, emulsion paint, painting rollers and brushes, canvas sheet with pulley, and other supplies.
Since most of the materials were large and long, WFCC staff needed to carry one by one for several times. Along over the 600 kilometer of transportation, Mr. Monthon Mapreda (Koh) traveled for 3 times within 1 week. And Mr. Chatchay Lopsathit (Ter) support another transportation which helped loading task finally completed to its destination.
The construction continued progressively. Only few processes remained; such as thatching, canopy and pulley canvas installation, radio communication system connection, and solar cell installation process. All the processes remained are planed to be completed within 3 days.
Among those of conservation tasks, transportation is such burden which requires much patient and dedication of the staffs. The driver has to face with time pressure to deliver material to its destination and for several times, as well as he need to be much careful for all loading materials; especially the fragile one not to get any damage during the long rough way. The Biklee Wildlife Checkpoint Construction Project is another one of several project we have to thanks for the transportation staffs who devoted to such burden for over 5,000 kilometers altogether during this two weeks.
The completion of this project is approaching, as well as our target of Biklee stream conservation is going to be strongly accessible soon; by vigorously cooperation and dedication from all sections.
