The 200 litre large of oil tanks supported by Mr. Chartchay Lopsathit.

After oil tank installation, technicians were separated to support 4 different tasks; ceiling installation, poly carbonate canopy installation, pulley canvas installation, and painting building and structure. So the working atmosphere seemed very busy that day, like every other previous project. Every technicians worked hurriedly until their own job finished, then help each other without resting, so the work done progressively.

Until noon time, technician gathered for lunch which prepared and recooked by Lukenut. Along over the ten days of construction, all the technicians lived simplest working as well as they did during all other project at Thungyai Naresuan. “Easy living with Hard working” seemed to be the remarked motto in everyone’s mind.

Supported by Mr. Supachai U-Taphao (HS7-TKC), 2 LED warning lights were installed upon both sides of the canopy, as well as the radio communication wire and antenna were installed on the gable.                  Khao Laem reservoir and Khao Yao on the last night seemed not so lonely as usual and be a special time when Mr. Prasert Maksap; the leader of Khao Laem reservoir, came with a delicious fried fish and northeastern traditional food and Mr. Paiboon Sawetmalanon whose supported a part of ceiling steel structure came to join our dinner.

During the conversation, Mr. Prasert discussed about the crisis of fresh water fish in Kha laem reservoir.

“Most of the fresh water fishes sold in Thong Pha Phume market are from aquaculture because fresh water fish in Khao Laem reservoir has been decreased astonishingly due to fish poaching, especially during breeding season, including other kind of illegal fishery and commercial fishery although the current crisis and punishment warning, acknowledgement, also several ways of publication were continuously released. If we can not retrieve their participation of conservation with proper management on this last breeding resource of Khao Laem reservoir, natural fresh water fish will be disappeared soon.”

“The checkpoint WFCC has supported to the Fresh Water Fish Protection and Subjugation Center will be much useful to Biklee stream breeding resource. After breeding season, it will be towed to perform at other protected positions in Khao Leam reservoir where poaching is abound.”

The technicians and other project participants were glad to perceive such significant information of Khao Laem reservoir that night from the Fishery Department officer who has dedicative mind on preserving national natural resources and who was full glad after participated the construction project. The tents erected two weeks ago was waiting us to spend the last night in, when the moon caught the ridge of Khao Yao hill and the pride came to all our mind.
