June 19, 2005 WFCC donated SCANHEX digital camera to Maharaja wildlife protection station to support wildlife track survey project which WFCC initiated in order to collect nature & wildlife data of Thungyai and pave way to welcome future researchers. The 4.1 million pixel digital camera with 128 MB of memory and battery as well as its battery charger value ß12,000 was handed to Mr. Jitti Sawatsai, chief ranger of Maharaja wildlife checkpoint. In addition, WFCC provided computer lecturer to train the rangers in the same mission in order to help the rangers get basic knowledge of how to use the computer in the wildlife track survey project which WFCC plan to support a computer lecturer on a monthly basis till the rangers are well trained and can get use of the computers.
