May 15, 2005: WFCC proposed King Naresuan Maharaja's Shrine Construction Project at Thungyai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary to Mr.Urb Choeng Sa Ard, chief in command of Thungyai, to mark 400 years of King Naresuan the Great in year 2005 for the benefits of Thungyai officers, rangers, workers as well as all Thai people to pay respect to the great king who devoted all his life protecting the land of Thai. Then, Mr. Urb agreed on the project and considered the construction place at the right wing of Maharaja main office building which located at the top of the mount of Maharaja wildlife protection station. WFCC then, invited Mr.Kittipong Suriyathingchuen, a famous Weing Fang sculptress, to design king's shrine construction during July 30 - August 2, 2005. During August, 2005, WFCC informed this project to its members & supporters and get adequate construction materials, then, on August 27, 2005 Mr. Urb accompanied with Thungyai officers, rangers and WFCC and its volunteers performed king's shrine construction ceremonial at Maharaja wildlife protection station. After then, the king's shrine construction get started.
