September 9, 2005, WFCC delivered WCS officers; together with Mr. Rawang Klinklai, Mr. Sorayuth Chaikhiaw, and Mr. Thitjit Sangkhakeeree, Thungyai’ srangers, to start pacing for hornbill survey onto their specific point Anak Pattanaviboon, Ph.D. had planned. There are altogether 5 tracks all over Thungyai Naresuan WCS planned to do the survey, expectedly, at least 2 times / year / track. The continuous record will not be useful only for managing process of hornbill species reservation, also for the protected area due to the large wild area with large nesting trees they required.
