                 During progression meeting of Western Thungyai Naresuan Wildlife Survey Project, January 7-8, 2006, WFCC supported the 2^nd computer to support Tiger Research Project of Khao Nangrum Wildlife Research Station, Huai Khakhaeng Wildlife Sanctuary. The 2^nd supporting computer was received by Mr. Saksit Sim-chareon, the head of Khao Nangrum Wildlife Research Station.

                 The Tiger Research Project of Khao Nangrum Wildlife Research Station have been done progressively by its officers’ devotion and other supporting associations such as Huai Khakhaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, Natural World Heritage Site Ecosystem Management Project, Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Thailand, Panorama Documentary Co., Ltd., Mr. David, etc,. It can be estimated that, nowadays, tiger population in Huai Khakhaeng is only 60 left. And, until now, the Khao Nangrum researchers have altogether 40 tigers recorded. The supported high technology equipment the research station received, such as infrared camera and camcorder, collar, etc., have powerfully drives the project rapidly progressed following its objective of tiger preserve in Thailand forest.
