January 4, 2007: WFCC handed 5 units of radio transceivers to Mr. Jitti Sawatsai, chief of Maharaja wildlife protection station as to deliver to Thungyai rangers. All the radio transceivers were fixed and repaired by Mr.Supachai, HS7-CEJ, WFCC radio technician as to support fixing expenditure to Thungyai rangers. In each year, there were many broken radio transceivers from Thungyai sent to WFCC for fixing. Most of major problems of handheld radios were broken antenna and accidents of radio dropping in the stream during patrol. And for most unusable fixed radios at the stations were caused by the wrong connecting of power supply that resulted in electronic short circuited. WFCC has provided annually budget for radio fixing since 2001 as to help the poor Thungyai rangers for them to have good radio for their routine work to protect nature and wildlife of Thungyai, the natural world heritage site.
