The Radio Network Communication System Construction Project

                 The radio network system is a must needed infra structure of the wildlife sanctuary, it is like a super highway and of communication in this huge forested and mountainous area. The radio system is the only mean  and most effective communication possible and available for all wildlife check points , wildlife  protection stations , researchers , rangers ,etc., to send and receive important messages and get all their tasks going on.

                 Without the radio network system, it is impossible to have effective and good protection, preservation, conservation, researching and managing this gem natural world heritage forest. Seeing this fact,  WFCC then initiated the radio network system project for Thungyai on December 24, 2001 at Mae Kasa wildlife protection station which was the first radio station constructed in this project.

                 Though  the there were more than 20 wildlife checkpoints and protection stations scattered through the mountainous area of 600,000 acres and the obstacles of traveling carrying ton of radio equipments through the most tough track of all  forest's legend in the extreme condition especially during the rainy season, WFCC aimed for the star and settled a master plan for the project because we were aware that without a good effective communication it was hard to keep this world heritage forest.

                 The radio network system and the solar cell system projects have started since December, 2001 and still on its way till today. The radio system need energy to power , hence the solar cell system is the solution which needed to be carried out along with the radio network system project . The two needed projects then combined, broaden and piled up financial burden to WFCC, long list of radio equipments have always been waiting for the purchase and to be transported by the " Iron Heart " a thousand kilometers from town to its various locations in the deep forest. The projects not only needed time but also a lot of fund to get advance, as WFCC has been established as a non-profit  organization and deal in no business, always and all time been in the situation of financial deficit. These vital projects have been wholly relied on the only source of revenue which is from  WFCC members & supporters.

                 Among our great supporters are the LocalNet company and Mr. David Butler , Vintage Power Wagon Inc., IOWA , USA. who we are forever grateful to their devotion of their continuous long supports that have driven WFCC close to its projects achievement.  These essential projects will never been succeeded without utmost dedication of the radio installation team rangers and supporters. This may because of  they all shared the same objective and aim to  help building up the radio network system for Thungyai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary for they know the essences and  benefits of the radio network system project that will enhance all activities managing, preserving, conserving etc., via radio communication system  be more effective which result in protecting and keeping forests and wildlife not for Thai but  the people of the world.
