First morning of this trip , we met Nitut's wife putting a lot of powder on her face as Burmemse tradition. We met assistant to the cheif of the wildlife sanctuary who told us that Mr. Urb the new cheif has come on duty.
Late in the afternoon of the that day , we arrived at Hermit Mount. I let other members move further to next wildlfe check point(Sesavo) then I walked up the mountain alone to see Mr.Nitut who was on duty at the temporary Hermit radio station.
I understood as soon as I saw the antena which Mr.Nitut had incorectly set up for I received poor radio signal all the way up from wildlife sanctuary main fate to the Hermit mount. I told him to reset the antena set up for better radio signal.
We arrived at Sesavo wild life check point in the late evening , then we unloaded some construction materials e.g., toilet , floor plastic mat , pvc water pipes for new service station which WFCC supported the construction. After we finish building this new service house next month we will take down the old ruin bamboo house which has been used for years. The rangers at this wildlife check point were very happy with the new service station.
We gave a new used 50 watt radio transceiver which we got donated from Mr.Yot's brother to Mr. Nitut to install at the tempoary Hermit central radio network station for better performance.
Last night we stayed at Sesavo , in the next morning after we left some foods for the rangers then we headed off for Jakae wildlife check point. Along the way I stopped and shoot this picture at the Hermit Field for an example to a friend of mine who plan to rebuild a new garden at his home.
We stopped at Mae Kasa wildlife check point and check the radio & solar equipments which WFCC installed in 2000 , We fixed some cable and as the rangers repoted that there was something wrong with the solar system and resulted in poor radio signal. We left some foods to the rangers before we left.
2 pm we stopped at Jakae wildlife check point and checked radio & solar system , we found that 100 amp battery need to be replaced. We left some foods for the rangers before we left for next wildlife check point.
We visited the head of the Jakae village near Mayanmar border and discussed about the villagers' program who volunteer to patrol the forest around the village. Before I left his house I saw this tree blossomed then I shot this foto.
