March 19, 2005 WFCC had installed J- Pole 4 elements antenna to the radio station of Takeanthong wildlife protection station in order to improve the performance of its radio station. After the old 5/8 lambda antenna was lowered down and a new J-Pole antenna was rose up and successfully installed at the top of the tower, the performance test was satisfactory. The signal and audio from near by wildlife protection station's radio station were improved than before, moreover it's radio signal sent out reached the central radio network station of Thungyai ("The Hermit" central radio communication station) at a good quality which surprised all WFCC and the rangers and brought happiness to all of us. The success of radio system improvement at Takeanthong wildlife protection's radio station had strengthen the radio network system of Thungyai which was one of the attempt to guarantee the sustainable conservation of the wildlife sanctuary, the natural heritage of the world.
