February 10, 2006 was the schedule for WFCC to improve the efficiency of radio communication system at Tipupong wildlife protection station. By the evening of the 9th February 2006, WFCC officers departed from Nakornprathom and stay at the 8th Kanchanaburi Research Station for a night. The continued the way to Tipupong Wildlife Station in early morning of the following day. By that time, the existing direction of Tipupong’s radio antenna was facing to the former Klitee opencast which made its transceiver not so effective. Mr. Thanabodi Urarak (Mr. Keng) again climbed up the 45 meters radio post to adjust direction of the folded 8 stacks dipole antenna to face up north where the Hermit Hill Radio Communication Network Station was stated.
After mission completed, WFCC headed to the Office of Thungyai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary for the next mission. During the way, we noticed the clue of natural forest fire that again returned to control the balancing of this wealthy ecosystem.
