Rangers Support Project
Radio Transceivers

                 Radio transceiver is an important equipment which all rangers of the wildlife sanctuary dream for long time . This equipment is very helpful which will enhance rangers to communicate with near by radio stations in the wildlife sanctuary when they are on a patrol and may need assistance from friends in some circumstances . In many cases , in the crisis moment , the handheld radio may be the only equipment they have to reach other radio stations of wildlife protection stations near by and ask for support or rescue team to save their lives.

                 Though there is a high demand on this equipment , there is forever a deficit in their need . WFCC tried it's best to supplied handheld radio transceivers to rangers in past years and distributed to rangers at all wildlife protection stations throughout the wildlife sanctuary . Moreover , WFCC support the repair  of all radio transceiver both handheld , mobile and base types . Since the equipments are costly and the repair cost is subjected to liability of WFCC ranger support project , about 50 radio transceivers of all types were fixed and repaired in the past and new radio transceivers were distributed to rangers and wildlife protection stations around the past few years when WFCC initiated the radio network system installation for the wildlife sanctuary in 2001 . In the year 2005 , WFCC plan to distributed more 40 news handheld radio transceivers to the rangers throughout the wildlife sanctuary at 2 sets per wildlife protection station to enhance the forest protection and wildlife research which WFCC had cooperated with the wildlife sanctuary and initiated the wildlife research project in Feb., 2005
