Rangers Training

                 Thungyai rangers training program has been first initiated in year 2002 by Mr. Paiboon Sawetmalanon , the former head of the wildlife sanctuary , to improve working efficiency and working knowledge of Thungyai rangers and improve the standard of rangers recruitment that need to pass the rangers training program.

                 The training program consists of many important subjects which are basic knowledge to rangers such as map & compass , GPS , first aid , plant and wildlife , laws , weapon etc., as well as forest patrol at the end of the training program . The period of training is around 10 - 15 days , the exam and test is the meter to evaluate the trainee at the end of the course.

                 WFCC support Thungyai rangers training program by providing budget mostly on training equipments , manual , text books , food and instructors , about ฿100,000 was spent on the previous rangers training program as to support the wildlife sanctuary to achieve its objectives.
