Page
1 Since its construction on 14th August 2006, WFCC have continuously monitoring the performance of solar cell system of Maharaja wildlife protection station which has been reported through satellite communication system. It was 4th December 2006 after the 1st maintenance mission of Central Radio Network Communication Station, WFCC served its maintenance for the first time as to support the West Thungyai Tiger Research project.
The operation started at the solar house just after lunch, leaded by Mr. Keng; the project director of Maharaja Solar Cell System Construction and Maintenance, and followed by some volunteers; Mr. Ittirit, Mr. Jumpon, and Mr. Ball. Mr. Keng described the target of work that is to find the damaged and expired battery that effect the overall system among those 24 baterries by using baterry tester. When all volunteers understand the problem and procedure, they started to disconnect and remove baterries from the case one by one to check and mark for unusable ones. After got two new batteries to replace, they relocated all and reconnect the system.
Perhaps it was a value occasion for those volunteers from the city to participate such work in a jungle site and to practically understand WFCC principal and site's problem. As well as Mr. Thana Tansiri; WFCC legal consultant, who just had a chance to discuss with the chief of Thungyai; Mr. Erb Cheongsa-ard in details regarding the case of a tin mine in Thungyai, and he gave some legal instruction in return.
