Solar Cell : Thungyai : Western Forest Conservation Club : WFCC

1 pm. March ,19 , 2005 after finishing the radio imrovement at Koengsada wildlife protection station , WFCC rushed to Takeanthong wildlife protection station to continue the solar cell system installation .

2 pm. the solar cell system installation mission started .

while some volunteers were busy assemblying the solar panel to the solar pole , the rangers helped mixing concrete .

other volunteers helped digging hole for the solar pole to be seated , and putting wire in the tube .

Mr. Nitas was mounting the solar charger controller and connect the copper wire to the solar charger controller unit which to be used as the ground .

after the solar pole was moved into the hole and filled with concrete , volunteer connecting the wire to the solar panel .

other volunteer help making a charger wire which one end was to be connected to the solar charger controller unit and the other end was to be connected to battery .

the solar charger controller unit was mounted on the wall in the same room where the radio transceiver was operating .

one hour passed , the mission completed . then WFCC rushed into the forest headed to Salawa wildlife protection station to install another solar cell unit .

alongside the road was the area that once used to be a densed forest and was illegal occupied by the villagers some years ago .

the sling used by poahers to trap wildlife .

though many poachers were arrested in the past years , there are still more to come .

rangers training program is one way the wildlife sanctuary practice in order to protect wildlife and nature .

nature awareness amoung the villagers who live in and near the wildlife sanctuary may help saving wildlife .
