Wildlife Tracks Survey #10 Mission
The tenth mission was a general survey for a new target track. Above is tiger's scrape we found on road. On a tree beside the road we could smell tiger's spray (urine). Both signs referred are tiger's natural behavior to remark its territory.
At a salt lick nearby, there were several manifest wildlife tracks around. Above left photo, you may see several layers of tracks. And the right shows another tiger's footprint.
The photos above show natural salt lick and stream. Around were mixed deciduous forest, in alternate with grass field and bamboo forest, including with dry evergreen forest along the stream. The complexity and wealthy here is very appropriate for wildlife's habitat. And, it is why we could find several tracks around this area.
Several beautiful flower we could see along the track. The first above left photo is a parasitic plant which grew upon other plant's root named Balanophora latisepala. The next above right is Pagoda flower. A white bouquet looks unattractive named Anethum graveolens Umbelliferae, is very well-known by villagers about the taste of its dry seed when pounding with curry. The pink one was still unknown, probably in Anethum family.
The last photo is a cluster of stripe wing bugs which its name also still uncovered but during research.
