During 5-12 November after meeting of Kongmongta Village Wildlife Reservation Group establishment, WFCC staffs discussed with the chief of west Thungyai, West Thungyai Tiger Research team, and project consultants; Mr. Saksit Simchareon from KNR and Dr. Anak Pattanavibul from WCS for the project progression and preparation for site mission. The project consultants confirmed the position for camera trap installation, then described process and time frame. On this chance, WFCC distributed map to all concerns.
Apart from several missions; Maharaja Station Improvement, Solar Cell System Construction, Communication Satellite Installation, Computer Center installation, etc. WFCC has gradually performed through its objectives and also advantaged to the project, WFCC extended its mission by donating and delivering foodstuff to support the team. The first delivery carried some in its full load capacity, adequate to supply all staffs for a period. And, absolutely, the next will take turns along the three months of site mission.
By Thungyai' s responsibility, all equipment and work field are well prepared, as well as the temporary satellite tower was replaced by a new permanent one to support working efficiency throughout the field operation.
